I've always wanted to try Tarte's Amazonian Clay blushes, as I've always heard great things about them. I bit the bullet and decided to try one. I picked up one of the newer shades, Frisky.

"From Tarte: As a follow up to tarte's best-selling Amazonian clay 12-hour blushes, tarte introduces the same award-winning formula in four, brand-new shimmering shades. Spiked with tiny, finely-milled specks of gold and silver, one swipe will add the perfect amount of sheen to your cheeks."
Swatch:
Thoughts: This is such a beautiful bright coral color, perfect for Spring. It has gold shimmer but I noticed that when I applied it, it didn't show up as much as it does in the pan. It is VERY pigmented so you will need a light hand with this one. I was able to wear this all day and it looked just as nice as it did when I applied it earlier that day. This blush retails for $25 which is the one reason I have been apprehensive about purchasing but I will definitely be picking more of these up when funds allow. This is an awesome product and have great longevity. Tarte has even thought ahead, for those who love to depot. All you have to do is turn it over, tap lightly and the pot pops right out. The pan is also magnetized so you can just pop it into your favorite palette and go. There is also huge selection of colors for these blushes.
Have you tried Frisky or any of the other Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes?
P.S. I'm thinking about bringing my natural hair topics back to this blog. I feel as though I'm not writing enough about the topic to keep it separated. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.

I've always wanted to try these Tarte blushes! The price always put me off but I've heard such great things about them...i might have to cave in =p
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty blush. I will definitely check on those next time I pop into Sephora. I would prefer if you did all if your posts on this blog, I don't have natural hair but still love to read/see all about it.
ReplyDeleteThe price definitely leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I am a blush fiend though, so I just went ahead and made the jump. I am so glad I did. Let me know if you give it a try!
